Lessons learnt from Westmall:
1)Speaking mandarin on stage works like magic when attempting to grab the attention of heartland uncles and aunties.
2)Never underestimate what the presence of schoolgirls can do for a gig.
3)If you're confident that an audience will appreciate Maroon 5 more than The Strokes, sing a Maroon 5 song. (with just a little dose of boyband vocal techniques for added effect)
4)Enclosed spaces do wonders for hearing yourself and your bandmates better.
5)When you sense that members of the audience are checking out your bandmates instead of yourself, throw your arms in the air or do a little jump (under the guise of stage presence) to steal the limelight back.
Hur hur.

King Kong Jane - Fortune Faded
A Red Hot Chili Peppers number that we first performed at the National Vertical Marathon held at Suntec City earlier this year. In case you were wondering, yes, this is the last short clip that we're uploading from the Ngee Ann City gig on Sunday.
A friend actually recorded the entire gig on DV tape though. Would anyone happen to know how I can transfer that to a computer so I can post it up Youtube?
