Less than 4 months to go
According to today's papers, American rock group Mercury Rev and indie pop band Camera Obscura from Scotland might respectively open and close Baybeats 2007!
It's really exciting to see how the fesival's shaping up to be bigger and better this year, and the best thing about it is that we're part of the event!
So mark your calendars: Baybeats will run from 3rd to 5th August. We'll post up information about the exact date and timeslot we're performing at when we receive the news!

Music in Class!!!
Hey everyone... I am missing all the jamming sessions with the band badly man... getting withdrawal syndromes... haha... here are some stuff to watch while we take a long break for exams...
Renquan and I took up this elective class called the "Studies in Jazz & Pop" this semester after some good recommendation from Ian who took it 2 years ago... Well... we studied about the background of the modern pop music and most importantly, we had to form groups within the class to perform as different bands on the last week of normal class! Most of our classmates have no band background and many of them had to pick up new instruments just to perform!!! Renquan and I got splited up into different bands and our 2 bands wrote our own songs to perform!!! A pat on the back for our fellow classmates who had to put in a lot of effort to learn new instruments!!! Considering the little time that they had, I think they produced pretty good stuff!!! The next 2 posts are the videos from RQ and my band!!!
(sorry rq... I tried to add in the intro slide b4 your band song but somehow after saving the file, the audio got distorted so i decided to post it raw from the SD card)
Thanx Ian for helping us video the performance and staying ard to help us with the rehearsals and set up!!!
Take care everyone and good luck to us for the irritating exams!!!

Pre-exam shout-out
Hi people, exams will end for all of us by 5th May, so we will be back in the jamming studio after that.
Our next gig will be for the official opening of NTU's Alumni Club at One North on 8th May, where we will be performing for President Nathan. It's likely that the event will not be open to members of the public, but do stay tuned for details of other upcoming performances.
Here's a demo of Crowded that you can embed into your blogs by getting an account at imeem and then clicking here.

Happy Birthday Jianping !
We had a great time at Jianping's surprise birthday party earlier tonight. The birthday boy was showered in confetti upon his arrival, while the food at the BBQ was really good. Kudos to Pris for bringing the whole thing together! Stay tuned for some photos we took.
Anyway, I personally tried downloading our tracks from myspace and didn't face any problems. So for those of you who've only managed to download half of the songs, do try again yah? As for the changes in lyrics, the version you hear in the recording is the final one! Hur hur.
