Someday Somehow

Of all the original compositions we've written this year, "Someday Somehow" is arguably the closest we've got to an epic anthem.

The song talks about unity in the face of adversity, and here's a video of us performing it at VivoCity a couple of weeks ago.

Take my hand, and walk with me through it all
By your side, I’ll fight and defend till the morning after comes again

Believe in what we can do
Don’t forget who you’re meant to be
Fly in skies that are not so blue
Cry, but don’t keep your head down low

Take my hand, and walk with me through it all
I can see, what’s going on in your mind
Hold your ground, we’ll make it someday somehow
By your side, I’ll fight and defend till the morning after comes again

Don’t forget what you’re meant to be
Cry, but don’t keep your head down low

Take my hand, and walk with me through it all
I can see, what’s going on in your mind
Hold your ground, we’ll make it someday somehow
By your side, I’ll fight and defend till the morning after comes

You are never ever on your own
So get on your feet and try to sing along

Take my hand, and walk with me through it all
I can see, what’s going on in your mind
Hold your ground, we’ll make it someday somehow
By your side, I’ll fight and defend till the morning after comes again

Please believe me, when I say that I’ll never let you go again
Please believe me, when I say that I’ll never let you go again
Please believe me, when I say that I’ll never let you go again
Please believe me, when I say that I’ll never let you go again

Hold On for Hold On

The wait is over!

Presenting the very first video of "Hold On", which we performed at VivoCity last Saturday!

We're not releasing the full lyrics of this song just yet, as we're still in the process of improving them for subsequent performances. But the current chorus goes something like this:

Hold on to what you've got
Don't let life deny your dreams
Spread your wings, it's not too late
Make mistakes, it's not too late
Take a stand, it's not too late
What you gonna do

The gig with fire on stage

Sorry to those of you who came down to VivoCity punctually at 6.30pm! Due to some unforseen circumstances, our slot from 6.30 - 7pm was changed into a soundcheck that ended before 6.30pm.

Nevertheless, a big thank you to those of you who managed to catch our eventual performance! We actually had no idea that the event would be of such a large scale beforehand. In fact, the stage lights and huge crowd made it feel like Baybeats all over again!

We hope you guys liked "Someday, Somehow" and "Hold On", which we're in the process of uploading onto YouTube at the moment. Watch this space!

Oh and we'll be busy preparing for exams for the next few weeks, which means our next gig will be in December. See you then!

VivoCity here we come

For 4 of us in the band, exams are just around the corner. So in a logic-defying move, we're performing at VivoCity this coming Saturday (10th Nov)!

If you're amazed by our courage, show some love by dropping by! We'll be performing 2 sets at the Skypark Amphitheatre on Level 3 of VivoCity. The first set is from 6.30 - 7pm, while the second will be from 7.45 - 8.30pm.

We'll be performing the two new songs that we debuted at Far East Plaza last week, namely "Hold On" and "Someday, somehow". Other performers for the event include DJ Andrew Chow of Zouk and Sylvester Sim.

See you there!

Crowded as can be

The sound system and crowd at Far East Plaza last night were great! We really enjoyed ourselves on stage, and hope you guys liked the show!

To illustrate how loud or delicate we can be, here are two videos of "Crowded", performed at Far East Plaza last night and Timbre last week. Hur hur.
