It was on a windy afternoon that we performed at the entrance of Cineleisure.
Succumbing to a moment of inspiration/insanity, Colin decided to do his most literal interpretation of Rihanna's "Umbrella" ever.
Be amused.

My girlfriend is very important
A nice chap from the National Library Board was around at Timbre to film our gig last week.
Here's the resulting video, which includes footage of Colin looking weak from stomach flu, Jianping explaining why speaking good English has helped his love life, and of us performing an acoustic version of "Go Away".
If you dislike clicking on embedded YouTube videos for some reason, you may click on the following link to watch the same video on STOMP, where 2 members of King Kong Jane appear right below 2 members of Maroon 5.

Braving the elements
We arrived at Cineleisure to find that the stage didn't come with a roof.
Thankfully, the weather wasn't too harsh on us, and we managed to enjoy ourselves in the company of falling cymbals, strong winds, mobile audiences, green umbrellas and constant Cheers.
A big thank you to everyone who stopped in their tracks to lend us your ears, and to those of you who came down specially to catch us!

Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh
And here we have the first official video of our gig at Home Club, courtesy of Stanley and Weetz.
This was the last song of our set, a new but lyrically incomplete original tentatively titled "The Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Song".
I've actually got a good mind to leave the song title as it is, considering how I think it actually helps people to remember the chorus, which is what I like most about the song.
Regards,
Colin

Feeling at home
I thought we gave one of our best gigs ever last night.
I can't quite pin it down to a single reason, but somehow, everything just sorta clicked.
To everyone who came down, thank you for adding to the number of familiar faces in the crowd. I guess that's definitely one reason for the gig feeling like a homecoming of sorts for us.
We're working on the footage filmed by Stanley, but in the meantime, you can actually check out the entire night's proceedings (in low quality) by clicking on the following link:

Next up for King Kong Jane? A debut at the Singapore Arts Festival...
Regards,
Colin

The one with the dancing baby
So our last gig in NTU as undergrads was pretty memorable.
The audience was quite appreciative, and sharing the limelight with a dancing baby was highly amusing.
Here are some photos of our performance at NTU Open House 2008, courtesy of Pris.
Stay tuned for more photos from the event, and details of our gigs at Timbre and Home Club next week.

Set List:
1)Intro + Crowded
2)Lollipop
3) UNSW
4)Go Away
5)Hold On
6)The Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh Song
