Behind "Our Secret"

The official music video for "Our Secret" will be released any day now, but in the meantime, here's a peek at what happened on the day of the shoot.

Warning: Only watch this if you can handle footage of me cross-dressing and of Ian in a King Kong suit.

Let the Channel 5 trailers begin!

If you watched this week's episode of Live 'N' Loaded, you would have caught our shameless plug for our appearance next week.

We popped into the studio just after our performance for oktoLIVE! on Tuesday night, and managed to make our way through the mosh pit for our 15 seconds...

But the real deal takes place next week, and tune in to Channel 5 over the next few days to catch promotional trailers for Episode 6, which will feature us, West Grand Boulevard and the awesome Shirlyn Tan!

There's even a ringtone of the song available for download, so do spread the word!

1 week to go

lnl

1 week to go to our performance on Live 'N' Loaded!

For the record, our actual performance for Episode 6 takes place at MediaCorp on Tuesday (3rd March) night, which you guys can watch 'live' online from 8.15pm onwards at http://livenloaded.mediacorptv.sg

But the episode will only be shown on Channel 5 at 11pm on Thursday (5th March) night.

And if you aren't able to catch either of the above, there will be an encore telecast of the episode on Channel 5 at 7pm on Monday (9th March).

Now are you spoilt for choice or what!

TV show virgins no more

If you tuned in to oktoLIVE! last night to catch our first-ever performance on national TV, we would like to say a big thank you for your support.

Although we had less than 3 minutes to perform "Lollipop", it was nevertheless a pretty surreal experience to perform on the set of a TV show for the first time. There were at least 3 cameras on us throughout our performance, and it was pretty tricky to know which one to look at!

We managed to bump into the guys from Madhatter backstage too, and got to know several nice people from Singapore Poly. To the producers and crew of oktoLIVE!, thank you so much for having us, and for accommodating our various requests leading up to the episode...

If you missed the show, tune in to channel okto this coming Sunday (1st March) at 6pm for an encore telecast of the episode!

"Waiting For Friday" hits YouTube!

Due to a high fever, Ruishen couldn't make it for the Esplanade gig on Saturday night, which caused us QUITE a significant amount of distress!

But in the end, there wasn't much we could do other than take the stage as a 4 piece band, and take out a couple of songs from our intended set, such as "Crowded" and "U.N.S.W.".

The new Esplanade Outdoor Theatre is easily one of the most beautiful stages in Singapore at the moment, and the acoustics are pretty awesome too.

I think the gig went much better than we thought it would, and a big part of that was thanks to the appreciative crowd, who obligingly clapped along to our final song "Waiting For Friday". Which is why I'm very proud to share the very first video of the song on YouTube, thanks to Weetz, who argued with at least 4 staff from Esplanade to make this video possible =)

Where did you go, where did you go my Saturday
Where did you go, where did you go my Sunday
I don't know what, I don't know what should I say
How did it turn, how did it turn out this way

The days go by, the days go by so slowly
The days go by, the days go by so slowly
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo, ooo-ooo-ooo
Ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo, ooo-ooo-ooo-ooo

No one ever told you, it's gonna be so hard, it's gonna be so hard
No one ever told you, it's gonna be so hard, it's gonna be so hard
Waiting for Friday, waiting for Friday
Waiting for Friday, waiting for Friday

(Note to self: I've got loads to learn from people like Kevin Mathews when it comes to penning lyrics...)

Our Best Interview. Ever.

I've lost count of the number of interviews we've done as a band in the past 3 years, but this one with RazorTV has got to be the best one yet.

Thanks to the well-researched questions and the cleverly-edited footage, this one's a must-watch!
