Saturday was Mosaic Music Festival day for us, which began with an interview with a journalist from Malaysian newspaper The Star. We'll post up the article when it's out, and many thanks to the Esplanade for making the interview possible.
After our soundcheck at the Esplanade Concourse, we headed over to the Esplanade Library to be interviewed for a segment called In The House. It was quite nerve-wrecking to be interviewed in front of a seated audience, and the cameras and lighting made us feel like we were on TV. Nevertheless, the session went pretty well and we wrapped things up with a stripped down version of 'If It Wasn't For You'.
Our first acoustic set kicked off at 6.15pm, and we were glad to see many friends at the Concourse. But we were definitely more relaxed for our second set at 9.15pm, which ended on a good note with 'Lemonade'.
Here are the songs we performed for both sets, including the Adele and Neon Trees covers which we did for the first time:
Set 1:
Lollipop
Go Away
So Love!
Animal (Neon Trees cover)
If It Wasn't For You
Someone Like You (Adele cover)
Waiting For Friday
Set 2:
If It Wasn't For You
Stranger
Animal (Neon Trees cover)
Waiting For Friday
Someone Like You (Adele cover)
How Could You?
Go Away
Lemonade
Then came Sunday aka Go Red For Women Picnic Day, which saw us heading to Sengkang for a soundcheck at 1.30pm and a performance at 5.30pm. Many thanks to Jason and his team for having us, and congratulations on the post-event media coverage!
We're now in the process of editing some videos that were filmed during these gigs, but here's the first of several videos to come:
