The 987 interview and performance



We made our 987 debut on Saturday, thanks to Rozz who we first met at Youth.SG's FEED ME campaign.

We were a little nervous about going on-air at first, but Rozz was such a darling that we really enjoyed ourselves in the end.

If you didn't manage to tune in on Saturday evening, here are 2 videos containing footage of us speaking to Rozz + 'live' acoustic versions of album tracks 'Go Away' and 'If It Wasn't For You'.

King Kong Jane is an indie rock band based in Singapore. The band first rose to prominence in 2007, when it was selected to perform at alternative music festival Baybeats. In 2008, King Kong Jane won nationwide band competition Powerjam, and was named Best English Local Act in The Sunday Times.

Known for its energetic live performances and catchy rock tunes such as "If It Wasn't For You", King Kong Jane released it's long-awaited debut album 'Waiting For Friday' in March 2011.

King Kong Jane is: Colin (vocals), Ian (guitar), Jianping (drums), Renquan (bass) and Ruishen (guitar)
